Every week, St Mary’s School Hampstead welcomes families to Mini St Mary’s. Our free stay, play and create sessions on Thursday 10.00am – 11.00am or 2.00pm – 3.00pm, and Friday from 10.00am – 11.00am during term time.
Led by Mrs Jennings, our Head of Early Years, these sessions are designed for children from 6 months – 3 years.
The hour long sessions include free play, malleable play, dance, movement, art and crafts with new creative toys introduced weekly. The opportunity to sing together during Circle Time at the end of each session is eagerly anticipated by the children and it has been hugely rewarding to observe their development over the last year, especially amongst those who are preparing to start nursery soon.
Although the delicious children’s snacks and warm pastries are undoubtedly a draw, Mini St Mary’s has also proved to be extremely popular with parents who appreciate the structured and fun activities for their children, as well as the chance to make new friends locally.
The success of these sessions has meant that we’re now operating a waiting list for each time slot. But, please do email: MINI@STMH.CO.UK to secure your place as soon as an opening becomes available. All children will need to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
