On Friday, the whole school community was delighted to join Fr Chris Connor (our School Chaplain) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination! Fr Chris’ Golden Jubilee was marked with a special Mass in the morning, to which we welcomed many of his friends and colleagues over the years. Later in the afternoon, we hosted a Jubilee Afternoon Tea for pupils and parents. This year also marks a special anniversary for Fr Chris at St. Mary’s, having joined us 25 years ago. In honour of his time with us and this milestone achievement, St. Mary’s is proud to dedicate our school library to him – henceforth known as The Connor Library! Thank you, Fr Chris, for your years of service to the school and the many happy memories made throughout your career. Here’s to many more.
