St Mary's School

Residential Trips

Residential trips begin in Year 4 and encourage the girls to be risk takers, trying new challenges. They also help the girls forge life-long friendships.

In Year 4, the girls begin with a one night residential, which combines an academic focus related to their current Creative Curriculum topic with practical activities involving team building and problem solving.

In Year 5, the girls face the challenges of Runway’s End, which develop the girls’ personal and social skills. Team building, problem-solving and communication, combine in a range of exciting activities which build on the St Mary’s 4Rs. This trip lasts for three nights.

In Year 6, there is a combined intensive French language and skiing trip to France. This trip combines enrichment, cultural experience and skiing.
