The sun was shining for our annual Sports Day, taking place on Friday 24th May before the half term break. Girls in Years 2-6 travelled down to Parliament Hill Athletics Track, overlooking the picturesque Hampstead Heath, to partake in many fun sporting challenges and races.
The day was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as girls participated in track races, long jump, tennis throws, chest push, as well as novelty races such as the three-legged race, egg and spoon race, and the sack race. Surely the highlight of the occasion is always the competitive teacher vs staff relay! Throughout the day, the girls displayed remarkable support, team spirit and sportsmanship, earning valuable points for their Houses. It was a day of resilience and showing respect for others too.
It was a fantastic event celebrating sport and our wonderful school community spirit. We look forward to revealing the House winner at Prize Giving!
