Claudia Del Toro Reyes

Claudia was raised in the Dominican Republic, and received a Catholic education from the Brothers of Christian Schools. Upon graduation at 17, she went on to study Economics at the “Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra”. Subsequently, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue an MBA in Finance at the University of Maryland, where she met her now husband Yunus. They moved to London in 2006, and Claudia has since then worked at PwC. Following work with international taxation for multinational clients, she now works in global strategy for the tax leadership network.

Claudia’s two daughters attended St. Mary’s. Her eldest is now at North London Collegiate School, and youngest will be joining Francis Holland in September. Throughout her time as a St. Mary’s parent, Claudia was involved as a class representative and volunteer parent reader.

Claudia is an energetic and self-motivated person who goes the extra mile. Her diverse background and life experiences have taught her greatly about multitasking, resilience, and adaptability. She is delighted to be a Governor of St. Mary’s School.

Welcome to St Mary’s School, Hampstead

Our school strives to nurture an active partnership between home, school, parish, and the wider North London community. Situated in one of London’s most affluent and scenic areas, our school is an excellent choice for families in North London who want their daughters to receive a premier education in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring locale.

“Our St Mary’s Way is the spirit by which we live: to treat other people as you would like to be treated, to do your best to be your best, to be honest and truthful, to listen to each other, to be kind and helpful, to forgive, and to share.”

Charlotte Owen, Headmistress
Pope Francis 1936 - 2025

We give thanks for the life of Pope Francis, who faithfully led the Catholic Church in the spirit of servant leadership, humility, love, and with continual compassion for and alliance with the poor and marginalised.

‘The legacy he leaves is one we must seek to carry forward and strengthen’ – Cardinal Vincent Nichols

May he now rest in peace and rise in glory.
