Year 6 February Fundraising Fair Success!

We are thrilled to share that our Fundraising Fair led and organised by Year 6 raised just under £5,000 on the day. This is a fantastic result and far exceeds the girls’ original target of £1,000!

On Saturday, hundreds of visitors streamed through the gates and gathered in the playground to enjoy tea, games and the most delicious Turkish delight and cake to support those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Undoubtedly, the most popular stall was “Splash The Teacher” with a never-ending queue of pupils keen to have a go.

We even spotted Mrs Connor-Earl taking the opportunity to aim a sponge at Mr Otter!

Every single penny donated has been sent directly to the British Red Cross appeal.

Thank you so much to Year 6 and their parents for their incredible efforts to ensure the day was a huge success.

And, thank you to all the St Mary’s friends and neighbours who generously supported our fundraiser. It was wonderful to welcome everyone to such a special community event.
